LeoVegas unveils brand new sportsbook specifically for its BetUK.com brand

Earlier in March, BetUK was bought by LeoVegas from IPS, and is currently operated by Rocket X. Now, it has become the very first LeoVegas Group brand that shifts the betting focus firmly on sports. The new sportsbook is powered by SBTech, and the company claims to have some huge things planned in the future.
There are clear intentions from LeoVegas to really get into the sports betting market, and this is reflected in BetUK securing the primary shirt sponsorship for Swansea City football club. The Swans play in some of the UK’s most popular football competitions, meaning the brand will receive plenty of exposure over the next few months.
BetUK.com is already a well-established domain with lots of traffic every day. It ranks highly in search results, which makes it the perfect place to establish a sportsbook for the LeoVegas Group. The hope is to create a real impact in the UK sports betting scene – which is one of the largest and most diverse in the world. LeoVegas hopes to continue working with different brands to help attract new customers with varying interests.
Make no mistake about it, while there is still an online casino at BetUK.com, sports betting is now the primary focus of the brand. It will have a lot of competition from the big boys in the industry like Ladbrokes and Paddy Power, but LeoVegas is confident this move will pay off and lead to continued success.
On a related note, the Stockholm-based company also released a brand new e-identification system known as BankID, which customers in Sweden can now use to register and log into their accounts. It’s said to be incredibly smooth and secure, keeping customers safe while adding to their convenience.
Shares in LeoVegas AB have been up 1.7% as a result of these recent announcements in Stockholm.
